Engineering-geological activity
The enterprise carries out all kinds of engineering survey for constructions of I and II level of responsibility which are carried out according to generally accepted on the building market methods and includes field and laboratory soil investigation. Field evaluation of strength and deformative characteristics of soil is lead by means of methods:

Static vertical profile is done by means of machine PIKA-17.

Stamp tests are done by means of machine UDPSH-600.

Impeller faultmeter and hand dutch penetrometer are used for soft ground (peat, fluid, fluid-plastic) survey.
Drilling of geological engineering wells is carried out to research cross section and sampling of soil in compressed zone of foundation bed. For laboratory qualification of soil the proofs of natural composition (monoliths) and proofs of damaged structure are selected. While drilling the supervision to hydrological conditions is lead, the forecast of territory impoundability is given. Presence of qualified specialists and the newest equipment makes it possible to work in conditions of III level of complexity – analysis of karstic processes, landslide areas, areas with cryogenic conditions, higher seismicity etc. Laboratory qualification of soil is carried out in Co Ltd «Specgeologorazvedka’s» soil laboratory by the data-processing complex «ASIS» - fully-automatic, multifunctional complex for mechanical, laboratory structural tests and stress-strain behavior of soil as provided by State Standard 30416-96, State Standard 12248-96, State Standard 23161-78, State Standard 24143-89, State Standard 21153,3-85. Chemical composition of ground water and aqueous extract is tested in the chemical laboratory. Cameral treatment of finding makes it possible to compare all the characteristics, consolidate all the information to a single technical report. Engineering survey play a big role in safety and quality of building. Underestimate of engineering survey, economy in effort can lead to complete change of the project and enlargement of period of construction.
